There is a poet in you
I know it to be true.
You may hear it in a rhyme
It may sing inside like a song
It could come out as normal talk
You may feel it isn't worth a lot
But to learn to express yourself in words
Is to fill your soul with gold.
*We'll work on this assignment Monday (How prepared and ORGANIZED am I?????)
I run down the soft,
ReplyDeletewet sand, and watch
the sunlight dissapear
under the roaring ocean,
trying to run in, to catch
some of it in my hands.
Then, soaking wet, I dash
out of the frigid dawn water,
now rippling against my feet,
the sunlight going, going, gone.
Snarling and roaring,
ReplyDeletethe alligator warns me
away from his murky
hideaway, under the
droopy, dead trees
he lunges at me,
testingly, to see
if i'm scared
Soon, I sneak to
the edge of the shore,
to get a snapshot of
the sneaky being, only
to be scared, and run
away, as the alligator
slips under the greyish
water.

ReplyDeleteThe wind blows during the day, in the night the nocturnal animals come out to play, in the rainforest it rains all day, in antartica the chills run down my spine to my behind, in the desert I lost my water i might die...but I hope not. In the sky I am very high looking down on the people's town. Soon I came home to my room it gets very nasty very soon.
(this one is the corrected one)

The Great Creature
ReplyDeleteBy: Wintwin
As I leave the lake something catches my eye,
it's a beautiful fox wondering by.
At first I felt frightened, I could see it did to,
should I run should I hide I don't know what to do.
But then a great thought came to me,
this amazing fox is not all that I see.
I see a person in this fox too,
so I have no reason to be feeling blue.
An amazing fox lies before me,
he is that I know he is all that I see.
So then I wonder on my way home, about the fox I had just been shown.
Another planetary poem:As you have been told, I am very cold, I have one moon, which a rover will visit soon.Hey wait! I am not a planet! Scientists must have planned it! What planet am I?

Mountains
ReplyDeleteBy: Sandeep Singh and Malcolm Pruitt
Mountains, so tall they never fall. Mountains, so big and bold.
Mountains still so strong even though they are very old.
When I reach the top it's like winter with a blanket of snow.
Atop the mountains Summer or Winter you will never know.
I build my house 4,000 ft above, with birds like a dove.
Spring comes out and I feel the warmth so nice it's like warm ink.
As my life is joyful, I sit on a cloud, praying to for a never ending life worshiping out loud!!!!
where are you ? Today was so boring I could have gone to sleep. We had to sit in our desk the WHOLE time and the day went by so slowly.
ReplyDeleteWE have learned that magnitism can transfer to objects that can be affected by magnitisem, if you do it right the magnetional can have a stronger pull but if you do it wrong it will have less charge or no charge at all.

This is something all the world must know, I am a poet, watch me grow. As I watch the world with wondering eyes, I ask myself"why, why". Why do birds sing? Why do doorbells ring? Then I take some time, to answer me in rhyme.

ReplyDeleteFrom Summer
Today I learned + and - fractions and what I got wrong on my math test, and I learned words I don't Know, and in Science, I learned about Magnets a little but I mostley work on math. I had a nice day today.C U 2 marrow!
Most of all, the best
ReplyDeletething I learned today is that it's OKAY to be wrong. I wanted badly to hide, myself and my test grade. I felt that nobody else felt the way I did. When Belle(who is DEFINETLY NOT a ding-dong)got it wrong, I found that they could relate. It just felt good to know I wasn't alone.(not in a"ha-ha you got it wrong" sense)And you know what? I must be over it, because I'm posting it myself!:-)
What I did today was golf with Dalles, Haseeb, and Nick. I learend today, was friction when the rug and the ball meet and the rug slows it down. Veocity is due when Dallas hits the ball and it moves where you hit it or bounce off a object and moves there. Gravity is due when the ball is hitting the floor and stays there and not float up ,also helps it do fricton.
ReplyDeleteHi this is Sandeep and today I learned about the actual questions I got wrong on the big 20. What I mean
ReplyDeleteby that is I made question on a power point presentation and it was based on the questions ones I got wrong on the Big 20. Then when I answered all but one and I only had to do answer 3
questions more than once. So that's what I learned for the day.
Why The Animals Don't Speak
ReplyDeleteLong ago, every single animal had a voice. They would laugh, talk, and even sing. One day, Mr.Giraffe noticed a change in his gorilla friends. They were becoming taller and their faces had changed- they were evolving. Soon, a new creature was roaming the land too- human. The humans could not talk, though, and were very jealous. So one day, the humans came up to the animals, and sucked the voice right out of them, and no animals were left. So next time you speak, the voice that you hear, is an animal's voice.
