Using Your Weblogs to Accelerate Your Learning
Once you have your weblog up and running, you are to make at least one new post a day. This is called:
Today's Blog - (date of post)
CONCEPT
Reading, Science, and Math
OBJECTIVE
What is the purpose? (ie the strand and benchmark - LAA 221 - Main Idea)
METHOD
How will you achieve, or accomplish, your objective? (finding the main idea of the textbook story, demonstrating and explaining Newton's Laws of Motion to the class outside, creating a prime and composite number puzzle?)
ASSESSMENT
What is the measurement of your success? This is accomplished both qualititatively (i.e. you scoring a 92% on a quiz or worksheet) and qualitatively (i.e. you feel much more confident in your understanding of the concept of matter)
*Worry about designs and photos AFTER you accomplish the learning. If you need help, wait until I'm finished with a classmate and call for me.
****While you're waiting, do what YOU CAN DO, versus sitting there empty-minded and empty-hearted. There's ALWAYS something YOU CAN do, CAN figure out....just start with what YOU DO KNOW about the problem, and try to build the answer in your head.
